The Power of Cupcakes
We know just how important moving in day is for your site. As a new cohort of freshers are welcomed in, it’s a great chance to make a positive impression! After all, you’re a key part of your tenant’s university experience.
We work with student accommodation sites to help make a big impact on moving in day, here’s how:
Last year a leading student accommodation brand worked with us across several their sites, with each requiring a bespoke product to help them create a buzz during the moving in period. We were thrilled to do what we do best for them, and our options gave them a quick and easy way to provide an on brand treat for their customers.
Each site offered us guidance on their requirements, including when they would be using the treats, and how much budget they have allocated. Armed with this information our team were able to consult on what could make the biggest impact for each location. Site deliveries included logo branded Cupcakes, Cookies, and multi-packs of biscuits.
One London site were keen to give out cupcakes to arriving students, and the Operations Manager commented “The Cupcakes went down really well, they were very tasty and turned out excellent. I will be using you again next year and likely for Halloween and Christmas!” We were able to assist them in generating a positive feeling for their new students.
Also, Manager at an Edinburgh site added “We put a pack of biscuits in every student’s room for their arrival. They are so good, and the students have been enjoying them.” Creative ideas such as this can help provide a warm welcome for students, providing a quick break from moving in with a biscuit and a cup of tea or coffee. This can help to associate your brand with a feeling of support and retreat for their tenants.
Overall, we worked with 9 different accommodation providers last year to help enhance the freshers experience for their new tenants. Feedback was fantastic, and we’re looking forward to helping create a buzz this year all over again.
