This statement is made by Eat My Logo Limited in accordance with the requirements under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”). It sets out how we ensure that no slavery or human trafficking takes place in our supply chain or any other part of our business.
Our business
Eat My Logo Limited is a manufacturer of Edible Promotional Merchandise that is used by businesses as a marketing or reward tool. We employ over 17 people at our premises in Chorley, Lancashire and believe the risk of human trafficking in our workforce is low. The majority of our team members are trained professionals who have been selected through Eat My Logo’s rigorous and transparent hiring processes managed by the Directors of our business, who also take responsibility for employee wellbeing in the workplace. Eat My Logo Limited has examined the risk of modern slavery within its business operations on a risk-based approach and considers the risks of modern slavery in its supply chain to be low. The assessment is based upon the nature of our online business and the services we provide to customers which present very limited exposure to modern slavery risks.
Compliance
Since the publication of our first Modern Slavery statement in 2017, we have remained committed to ensuring that no modern slavery or human trafficking takes place within our supply chain or in any part of our business. In addition to a risk assessment and as part of our commitment to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our business, we continue to ensure our compliance with the Act by:
• Driving awareness of our company policy which outlines our requirements under the Modern Slavery Act;
• Where appropriate and according to the level of potential risk, introducing contractual provisions in supplier contracts that require suppliers to comply with applicable antislavery and anti-trafficking laws; and
• Maintaining a risk-based assessment of suppliers in order to identify any modern slavery or human trafficking related risks. Further steps We are committed to continuing our focus on modern slavery and will take steps to review and, where appropriate, further improve our processes to ensure that we mitigate the risks in all our business activities and within our supply chains.
Approval
The statement has been reviewed and approved by Eat My Logo’s Board of Directors in accordance with the requirements of section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
